Interview with Riversharks GM, Adam Lorber
Access Sports was lucky enough to sit down with Adam Lorber, the General Manager of the Camden Riversharks. Adam has been with the Riversharks for 12 of their 14 year existence. He worked as the Director of Corporate Partnership before returning as General Manager. Aside from the Camden Riversharks, Adam has also spent time with the Bridgeport Bluefish, Madison Square Garden, New Jersey Nets and the Newark Bears. Despite his busy schedule, Adam had time to tell us how he feels about being on our honorary advisory board.
Adam said he is glad to be an honorary board member for Access Sports, because the Camden Riversharks are community-oriented, and ASE helps persons in the Philadelphia area. He knows together we are building a stronger community.
Adam’s goal is to expand his footprint, by helping people create a baseball memory. The Riversharks allow a lot of accessibility to not only the field, but to the players and of course their lovable mascot, Finley! They are not only community-oriented but family oriented. He wants to run the Riversharks like a non-profit in order to expand his footprint of the amount of lives he can touch and give a baseball experience.
He knows that when the people leave the game that they may not have remembered the scores or the names of the players but they will remember how much fun they had and the atmosphere that is provided. He also feels the Finley makes the ball game, and not just for young kids but for all ages, because he is always walking around the concourse and actively engaging with the fans.
